My own inflight entertainment ...

Well, this is my 1st time traveling on AAX flights for more than 5hours. Previous trip was to Macau, short flight but "horri-reble" (horrible +terrible). Should not mention it again as it was not at all a pleasant flight for me.

But AAX London was surprisingly GOOD~ * Well Done, AirAsiaX *

Stewardess where nice, polite and smiled all the way;
food was not bad too but they mixed up my order (=.=");
as a compensation, I was given a gift (=.^) ;
seats were reasonable comfortable, to my surprise (I thought it was going to be nightmare);

Here's a snap for u, my snack at 0430hr (+8 GMT Msian Time) ...
the lady sitting next to me was so kind, she tried to wake me up so I won't miss my meal. How thoughtful of her.

Something great to share with all !! I was helping a friend searching for a new home, and I stumble upon this website ST701. Site was pretty easy to navigate, and it saves us a lot of trouble to go abouts the island searching for goods and all.

Clear & str8 to the point , aint confusing at all

Since I’m looking at renting my own place and also helping my friend to look for a new home, we are mainly looking at properties in Singapore especially Singapore HBD flats, I’ve decided to search on ST701 Property for a start.

Properties listed from Woodlands to Bedok to Jurong, and many more.

What I like about this site are the varieties available, you can even narrow down your search to make it more precise, and its user friendly.

After the properties search we have short-listed a few that we want to take a better look at, personally I clicked onto ST701 SHOPS for some personal shopping … since Christmas is just around the corner *heehee

I would strongly recommend this site if you are looking for location of shops, cars for sale /rent or real estate - a site for you to get the info before you head out there and ended up getting nothing in the end!

I was searching hi & low for this Japanese seaweed called Hijiki, finally I found it in Isetan supermarket at Shaw Plaza! *yay*

Fun thing about my job here is, as a coordinator its just like transfer agent. Jobs will come to me, from client, and my job is to ensure clients requirements are met, convey message to designer, and send back to client for approval or get me webbie sifu to upload ... etc etc

Often happen in supermarket that products are misplaced, eg: shoes in bags department, boys' t-shirt in female department, packets being opened before they purchased and if they like it then will take another unopened pack!

I was being stupid, reading some articles online on renal impairment and suddenly a flashing ad caught my attention. So I clicked on it (dont worry its not spam) and completed the questions asked.

Fancy some nice Japanese food but thinking about the amount u're gonna be paying just makes u want to forget about it ?
Dont worry about it now as Hoshi Japanese buffet is running on promo for Buffet @$28.50++ per pax. (U.P @ $35++ i think) Trust me, add on tax and service, u are only paying $35 for all u can eat~ I rate this 9/10.
Promotion applicable on weekdays only.

Here's a picture to share with all of what I have tried. Overall, the sashimis are fresh, prawns are sweet & fresh too! What I didnt try was their sushi & handrolls, reason being with all the choice in the menu they offered, u would want to forgo the sushi so that u can try more of other dishes.

Their servings are quite small as its a Eat-All-U-Can buffet, what's the point giving us regular servings right? *smart* My advice, give it a pass to the soba & sushi and try all the other dishes on the menu.

My boss came down to KL for a short trip to meet some clients and also to get away from his hectic yet challenging working environment. Obviously I'm the one to bring him around town for food and fun. Its quite a fruitful trip for him as he manage to sort out most of his agendas and I suppose he had a great time too (no complaints from him so far ... heheh)

Put him into the hotel nearest to KLCC - Maya Hotel, a reasonably priced boutique hotel. With all the necessary need like Wifi and confy bed. Its just about 10min walk away from KLCC too.

Checked out the beds in the room, look pretty comfy ...
and they sure are comfy!!

The best part is they even had a espresso maker in each room~
now how cool is that?!!!

Now this is what I call UNIQUE~
I have seen this in hotels out of Msia but it took me by surprise when I saw this in Maya Hotel~
Well done!!

well, guess I should thank my bro for introducing KrispyKreme to be back in 2006 in Korea. Now that its in KL, every trip I am back, I am sure to visit them at least ONCE ... and get 2 dozen back to Sg.

I'm sure some of you many find it weird, its only doughnuts, what's so special about it ? Well, have you ever tasted a doughnut that simply melts in your mouth on the 1st bite? haha Krispy Kreme is the answer!

NO EYES SEE (* in canto -无眼睇）

I went to renew my drivers license today & I felt as if I was robbed under the broad day light.

The story goes like this ...

I just realised last night that my drivers license expires today, hence I need to extend it for at least another year. I took the trouble to go all the way to the JPJ @Genting Klang for renewal with photo on my license but all i got in the end was an extension card without my photo.

In the end I got a renewed license without the photo I wanted...

The photos isnt really the main issue, but problem here is I was told that I need to pay extra for one year of renewal. I was approached by this young man who he claimed to be able to help me for faster renewal and that the office was closed for lunch. They will only be back to work by 2.30pm, after lunch. So I thought since I was kinda in a rush and to save the hassle, I let him do the job.

Extra $$ for helping me get the job done ?

When I asked, he quoted only RM30 for 1year renewal, but after he took my license, turned over and looked, he said I need to add another RM30 for transfer fees. Reason given : This license was not issued here in Selangor. I agreed to to pay him to get the renewal but he later asked for RM10 for his service charge. I thought it was reasonable as I dont have to go thru this all by myself. So, he went off with my license. Minutes later he called me on my mobile said he will need to charge me RM10 for "coffee" 'cos I had summons pending for payment - in which I am not aware of!

RM10 for "coffee" to settle pending summons?

I need to get my license renewed or else I wont be able to drive at all. In a way, I have no choice but to let him go ahead with the only option given - PAY HIM WHAT HE ASKED FOR! Which is ... RM30 for 1year of extension+RM30 for transfer fees (reason given: my original license was issued in my hometown and not Selangor) + RM10 for his service charges + RM10 for "coffee" ... which total up to be...

RM80 for ONE YEAR of RENEWAL

After all these negotiation, which I very much regretted to let him extend my license, I felt even more stupid when I didnt even ask for receipt for the transfer fees! How could I not ask that from him ? I was just too devastated with the whole issue! All done in less than 10min & I got my license renewed for 1year, but I felt cheated!

I WAS ROBBED under the broad day light!!!

Well, this is not the worst. I took from JPJ @Genting Klang at about 12.30n , with EC. Suppose to be in Sunway by 1.20pm the latest to meet EJ for lunch. So we thought to save time & money, we decided to take the shortest route to PJ from where we were.

Driven 50KM from Setapak out 2North-South H'way & back 2Old Subang Airport

What happend in the next hour is way too frustrated to even think about it! So I shall just make it short for readers' pleasure.

Genting Klang to Sunway, usually takes up to 40min max at normal traffic, we took more than an hour;
Suppose to take LDP but missed the turn to Jln Kuching, ended up in Kepong;
At Kepong H'way suppose to stick to NKVE, ended up taking the wrong turn onto DUKE;
From DUKE suppose to exit Mont Kiara, ended up heading towards Kota Damansara routing thru Sg Buloh H'way;
at Sg Buloh H'way, suppose to exit Subang, Shah Alam but ended up in some ulu kampung road in No-Man's Land, passing by Pusat Penyelidikan Getah Msia;
Reached a T junction which the choices available wasnt what we expected,- Turn Left to Shah Alam & Klang OR Turn Right to Ipoh & Kuantan. Our choice - NEITHER!! and we were helpless and clueless of our whereabouts! ;
Took the chance, go by our instincs - we took the Left turn, ended up in TUDM Lapangan Terbang Sultan Abdul Aziz ( aka way to the old Subang Airport);
Forgot to mention, along the way we were very impress by how big GIANT has grown ( how ironic, Giant growing BIG ), we saw at least 5 Giant signboards on different locations from KL, Kepong, PJ, Shah Alam all the way till Sunway ! WOW!!
After 40mins of "cruise to no where", we finally reached our only hope to stay away from the highway to Ipoh - Old Subang Airport;

Took almost 1hr of joy ride to end our "Highway & Signboard Adventure of Kuala Lumpur", we fnally reached the junction turning into Sunway Pyramid. What a long day ...

Lessons learned :

Not to rely on other people to run the job for you if you are not familiar with the S.O.P, you may end up being cheated ( i feel sooooo darn bloody stupid now! )
If you are not sure of which rd to take, dont trust the road sign on the highway in Msia. Not only it will confuse you, it may also lead you to the wrong way/ long way to reach your desired destination.
Please dont be deceived by the names of the gardens/ housing area : Kota Damansara & Damansara Heights may sound the same but they are bloody far away from one another!

Time for a new haircut! After long awaited 3months, my hair isnt very long but just needed a trim and ended up with a 'shorter-than-expected' cut~

Ok, I went back the next day to get rid of the "not-so-my-style" rear fringe.

I was at Mutiara's Bazaar that day and saw this lad at the counter with books on designs that looked like tattoos.

I went over to chk it out, found interesting designs that I wanted to have it drawn on my hand. Took me 15min to flip thru all the books she had on the table and finally decided on 1 design that I liked very much.

The lady carefully draw the ink over my arm, her hand is a bit shakey but her free hand - chun!

Mind u! All there are without draughts okay ?? Free hand whey! But she changed the design I chose and added a few things on ... I like it!!

Look how happy I was with her work of art! Love it Love it!!

This is what happened about 45min laters when the ink started to peel off. Looked a bit orangee but still nice *cos my skin is really fair!* I guess thats why ...

Yes! a job interview I'm talking about. With an online advertising firm. I need to get myself prepared for this and I got to get this job NO MATTER WAT!! But as I think about it I'm starting to get nervous now...

What to wear ? How to style my hair? Heels or flats?
Teacher look or Super OL look!? with a coat or not ??

Then these thought pop into my mine; All the WHAT IFs - what if they think I'm not suitable for the job, what if they think I'm not experienced enough!? I'm no longer a fresh grad will they still take me in!?!? What if ....

I had this external hdd with me for quite sometime now. Ever since I switched to Mac, I have no ways to get all data transferred back into my ext hdd. Well, like they always say, " Once you're on a Mac, you'll never go back..." * lol and I don't intend to go switch back to Windows.

Mac is really a fun machine, I still have a lot to learn. Not to say that I am very good with Windows base PC/Notebooks, but I kinda partially gave up on them already.

Anyway, I just want to share something with new Mac user. Here is a vid'torials that teaches you how to format your ext hdd from NTFS ➜FAT32

My commonly use gadgets

iPhone 16gb *in white

I got this during Xmas. I was tooooo excited to do an open box thingee ( like many ppl do hehe) Not a bad deal, and I'm loving it till now, even though it failed on me a few times, unable to start, crashed, data lost... But still, its serving me till now.

PlayStation Portable [PSP] *in white

My favourite when I'm travelling long distance. Not only I can play games, I can upload movies onto it, save some music and photos too! Aint that good?! I'm sure those who have it knows how wonderful a gadget this is \(^o^)/ yey Sony!

MacBook (not pro) *in white

This is something new to me - Macintosh.
I'm still learning how to make full use of it till now. I'm pretty happy with it and using it mostly for photo editing. Since I have an iPhone, this suits just nice to make it a set of Apple I have \(^o^)/ hahaha ...
