We went KLCC today

Cant remember when was the last time we set foot into Dome Cafe
& so we went in for our all time favourite - Chicken & Mushroom Gourmet pie, the ever ol skool Cappucinno ...
then i cant decide between Affogatto or Twister...
in the end i ordered Twister ...

*the classic cappucino ... aromatic n smooth

What a meal ...

well guess what??
i was in the mood for some homecook dinner for my hubby

we made pasta and some stir fry veg ...

Its been a while since we last get together...

we went for lunch & shopping after fetching Mei from college.
1st thing we reached Sg Wang - lunch of cos
had a terrible meal at Esquire Kitchen ... and it was expensive tooooooo
ok enough said ...

anyway right after tat we went walk walk around
check out some movies and dvds n games

and finally- phones...

muahahhahah
as some of u may know me, I m a phone freak
But this time, hubby surprised me with a K850i!!!

I was hit and the fella fled off like speedy gonzales...

Of cos i was devastated then.... went to the nearest police station to lodge a report,took me 10min to write my own report but waited 90min to get things sorted out

my hubby is gona freak out when he knows about what happen to his baby ...

I m just amazed at times
I cant believe that I actually own one of this tiny lil midget
oh its Asus EeePC
those who know wat a UMPC is, this is basically the most basic n standard UMPC but its really small and handy

well, the funny thing that happen today was ...
I was out in the hall watching tv, left my midget in the room...
But I also left my notebook at the workstation, opened up like my midget
I walked into the room a few times, thinking to myself "How come there is 2??"
I thought it looked funny till I look twice at it
and guess wat?!?
I came to realise both my notebook & midget looked almost the same
I cant help laughing out loud & took a picture to share...

They look almost the same in the room when lights are off, unless u look at it carefully...
the only diff is my midget was pimped and the notebook was just paper

Note:

*Midget is wat i call my new love, the eeepc

*Notebook as mentioned above is the old skool type of book where we use for notes ...(d'oh... wat am I talking about here.. lol)

Well, its about time for another gathering ...
Syl came down for a visit and for some business

Its Fri and as usual, we all were out jalan-jalan, cari makan ...

1st stop :- some where in Segambut
What we had : - Seafood Noodles
Comment: - -nil-

No photos were taken cos I was too hungry
and it was real hot too

We then proceed to Ikea, walk walk look see look see a bit, nothing much to buy ...
Next stop, 1U ...
its been some time I been there

we are some how craving for 'tong sui' (chinese dessert)
hence we decided to go check things out in KTS

2nd stop: - KTS @1U
What we had : - sweet desserts
Comment: - not so nice


We were bored...
as usual, while waiting for our order to be served ... *snap* ...

3rd stop:- Starbucks ( my fav....)

We then proceed to Bux while waiting for Ching to come over ...

deco was ok but service wasnt up to our expectations though

kids nowadays, I just don understand them sometimes...
they work just for the sake of getting paid ....
or just because their friends were there...

I didnt mean all but majority ...
they don seem to know what they are suppose to do when they are in service line esp in F&B

why I say so ...
reason no 1
its good that they repeat orders, but even after correcting them of the wrong orders, they still read out the wrong order...
sigh...

reason no 2
no matter what u are having or how many person eating, they will just give u the 'standard' cutleries without checking how many sets are there in the basket they put on your table, just as long as the basket is on your table ... consider that job done
SIGH ...

reason no 3
after serving the meals, they just gather at the counter/station to chat, even though there are customers having their meals at the tables...
they just dont care
BIG SIGH ...


well I m not saying that u cant chat when there is free time or not so busy
but shouldnt they look around if there is something else better to do than just talking about what was in TV last night or what they had for dinner the night b4?
Gee.....

well, apart from the above mentioned, I still give them good grades for the quality of the food they serve

fairly large serving too for the price they charge

Thats why u see me and Jo smiling in the picture we took....

I shd mention this again, the deco in that place is real cool ...

but not the service they provide
