Finally I have arrived~~~ this time in Stansted, instead of the busy London Heathrow Airport. I was out from the gate and saw my s.i.l waving at me & I see no sign of my bro?! ... but in less than 5min, he appeared in front of me!!!!

Another family outing day... Well it was actually the day which we set "thoo'day" & "thoo'morrow" free at the temple in Mt Erskine.

After the prayers, I went around the temple & the back garden of the temple to look around, it was a nice and sunny day, thus its a good time to snap some photos.

I love the lotus mosaic on the ground, so beautifully crafted!

and I found this great spot here where I see the west side of this beautiful island Pearl of the Orient. I cant believe how much they have developed this side of the island already!

If you are tired or just wanna hide from the sun, there is a small hut where you can sit and rest ...

After the prayers, photoshoot under the sun, we were all starving!

Another place introduced by CKLam Thought since we are nearby Mt Erskine, might as well, drive there to check this place out. Indeed it was a nice place, cozy and lovely.

Over all rating for Summer Garden ... okay la!
Food and service is alright but even with the set lunch menu I find it not so satisfying. As for the rest of the items on the menu, I find them a bit over priced.

Well this is just my personal opinion after trying their set menu. Maybe next time will try something else (^^,)

Its been a tiring week for every one esp Chong family & relatives
Thanks to all the cousins, and their buddies to help "jaga" the night ...

It was also a great time for us all to get together , get in touch again, get connected again ...

On the 16th , we were all there to send Uncle Terence off the last time ...

I was taking a nap in the earlier afternoon as I wasnt really feeling well. I had a dream that some1 is talking to me and sobbing too

... then my phone rang ...my aunt Margaret called, I sensed that something is not right! True enough she broke the news to me in her sobbing voice ...

"Uncle Terence just passed ..."

I was still half asleep... after that she just put down the phone

Half an hour later I woke up, tears on my pillow, I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or was it real
So i called Aunt Vivian ... and the 1st thing she said to me was ...

"Uncle Terence just passed...
all waiting for the arrangements to be confirmed"

So it was real, I wasn't dreaming after all ...

& all in the family
