Fancy some nice Japanese food but thinking about the amount u're gonna be paying just makes u want to forget about it ?
Dont worry about it now as Hoshi Japanese buffet is running on promo for Buffet @$28.50++ per pax. (U.P @ $35++ i think) Trust me, add on tax and service, u are only paying $35 for all u can eat~ I rate this 9/10.

Here's a picture to share with all of what I have tried. Overall, the sashimis are fresh, prawns are sweet & fresh too! What I didnt try was their sushi & handrolls, reason being with all the choice in the menu they offered, u would want to forgo the sushi so that u can try more of other dishes.

Their servings are quite small as its a Eat-All-U-Can buffet, what's the point giving us regular servings right? *smart* My advice, give it a pass to the soba & sushi and try all the other dishes on the menu.

All in all we had tried over 10 different dishes, big & small. Kinda satisfied and happy. All of that costs abt RM40 for the 3 of us. I rate this 7/10 ... reason being, I couldnt have my 'Toa Pao" cos I was too full, and the egg tart doesnt seem attractive to me at all ...

But alas, u guys get to try it and I'm sure u guys loved it as much as I do, and craving for it right ?? LOL

Sharing today would be the history of one of my favourite chocolate - Mozartkugeln.
The history of the Mozartkugeln began in the place where the ingenious composer W.A Mozart was born in 1756; in Salzburg. In 1890 the Salzburg confectioner Paul Furst, a master of his art, created the Mozartkugeln- a composition of marzipan, nougat cream and bittersweet chocolate.

Even today, Mozartkugeln are being produced in the "Konditorei Furst" in Salzburg. The Salzburger company Mirabell used to produce their Echte Salzburger Mozartkugeln by hand according to the Mozartkugeln tradition. In order to meet the growing consumer demand, this laborious manual process was later developed into industrial production.

In the course of the years, Mirabell's Echte Salzburger Mozartkugeln, in their unmistakable red-and-golden octagonal box, because one of the most famous Autrian souvenirs all over the world.

I bought this from Macau airport. Its a different version whereby its in a heart shape box. Loved it to bits and I'm slowly enjoying them one by one; and ONLY 1 per week (^^, )

Seriously Sinfull Part IV

This time round- Korean ! I can't really see what's the name of the place but it sure is a typical korean restaurant. Initially we were thinking of having BBQ but afraid the smell will stick onto our clothes for the rest of the night ( we still got a long night ahead...) So in the end we ordered steamboat.

Looking at the hot stove just reminds me of the 1st time i went to Korea for the real thing! It was awesome! I wish I get the chance to go again with my bro & sis-inlaw. Simply superb!

ok ok, back to the steamboat. This place is located at Jurong Point, new wing, I really cant recall the name of the place; but it was just right next to Ajisen Ramen.


Oooo ... look at the meat! Thinly sliced, so fresh too! Appetizers were different sorts of kim chi. I'm not really a fan of kim chi locally, but the ones I had in Korea were much better ( d'ohh... come! Its just as good as having Nasi Lemak served in a German Restaurant or Prata in Beijing ... )

Over all, it was a great meal though~ (^^,)

Malay Kuih... tasted ok, but Nyonya kuih is still the best!

this one tasted like Onde-Onde, but slightly different. The Gula Melaka given doesnt taste really like Gula Melaka but it sure is sweet enough

out of the 3, this is still my favourite, but was abit disappointed after the 1st bite. The filling was too wet and the skin was too dry; total opposite!

An overall rating : Okay la... let say 5/10

Krispy Kreme in town soon!

I was told by Mei that her lecturer told them Krispy Kreme Dougnuts is in town!
We got so excited, and make a trip to Times Square and this is what we saw. What a shock! I thought its really here ... what a disappointment !!

I cant wait ....!

but guess what again, Krispy Kreme went to her college the next day to give away some free doughnuts, pre-launch promo I guess...

Those who have tried Krispy Kreme b4, I'm sure u know how it feel like! The 1st bite... ooOoOoO... it just melts in your mouth!! This - my 1st bite of Krispy Kreme in Msia 2009 !
I will never forget the moment!! Should have asked Mei to snap a shot of my "steamo" face !! LOL
Krispy Kreme was introduced by my bro who lived in London. I 1st tried it in Seoul, Korea when we were shopping at Lotte World. I still remember how good i tasted! Yummy!

Small Dragon Bun ?!... 小笼包

for those who know me ( u know who u are...) , I love dumplings, all kinds of dumplings ...
this time round, I have decided to give 鼎泰丰 a shot, to try their specialty - dumplings of cos'

On the menu itself show at many types of different dumplings.
Best to go for is the original 鼎泰丰 小笼包

U gotta eat it when its hot, but gotta becareful! Its so hot that it'll burn your tongue!
Ratings for the 小笼包 : 8/10 ... almost perfect!

as for the hot & sour soup... too much bamboo shoots!
killed me taste for it, cos i dont like bamboo shoots
Ratings: 6/10

Egg Fried Rice ... there's song ： 蛋炒饭， 最简单最困难！ Not easy to fried ~okay!?
Ratings: 8/10 ( bit too oily but its still nice! )

I went to check out the newly open extention of Jurong Point near Boon Lay Station.
It was SERIOUSLY HUGE! and guess what? They offer a challenge too!

If u can finish the whole thing all by yourself within an hour - the burger is FREE, they wil take it out off your bill hahahh ...but I dare not hahah

take a look at the burger yourself, i coudn't believe my eyes when i saw the plate ...

IT WAS HUGE!!

lucky thing they served it with LOTS of fries too hehehe

do u get what i mean when i say ITS FREAKING HUGE!?!?!?!

But all in all, it wasnt really a satisfying meal; the burger was over loaded with chopped onions (made me fart all night, damn it! ) Bread was not done properly too, and not enough vege in the burger... for $32.90 i rate as BELOW AVERAGE ...


Well, in order to agree with me, u just gotta try it yourself! and then u tell me wat u think ...

Lastly we feel like having dessert too that night but then couldnt decide wat to have. The waitress recommended Muddy Mudpie ( which i thought would be like typical english mudpie, forgetting that this is an ALL AMERICAN restaurant...)

It looks ok, but sure didnt taste anything like a mudpie~!~~!!! NO WHERE NEAR!!! It was sort of like some chocolate moist on a pasrty base, topped with lots and lots of chocolate fudge, and with a scoop of ice cream on top ... (i -scream , man ... when i saw thing coming i just don feel like touching it~! )

But in the end, in order not to waste food, we finished the whole thing too hehehehe

Went to IMM, was just walking around checking out some stuff and obviously every where is ON SALE but I kept reminding myself, not to spend on unnecessary stuff. So i was a good girl, didnt buy any nonsense hehehe ...

But after a while, we decided to have japanese for once (after so long ... besides some one is treating, so why not!?!? hehehe ) So off we went to Hoshi. At 1st we wanted to go for the buffet, but the manager said we only have 30min to order and less than an hour to finish up the food we ordered and it costs $40approx per pax! So not worth it and not much time also! In the end we had Bento sets...
